Peace Corps Night

Every year we celebrate Peace Corps Night with a fabulous potluck, and raise funds to benefit a serving Peace Corps volunteer’s project.  This is always the BEST and MOST DIVERSE potluck you will find anywhere around!  Join us for Peace Corps Night this year!

WHEN: Saturday, July 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

WHERE: Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh, 3313 Wade Ave, Raleigh, 27607

WHAT:  Our fabulous international potluck, plus a raffle, and a showing of a 40-minute compilation of prize-winning Peace Corps videos from 2016.

  • Raffle Tickets are $5 each, or 3 for $10 — win 3 or 4 days at a cozy cabin on the New River in the Blue Ridge Mountains, more details here.
  • The theme of the videos is Hospitality.  RPCV Jim Jetter (Fiji 1982-1984) will speak about clean cook stoves around the world. His talk is called “Cleaner Cook Stoves to Protect Global Human Health & the Environment.”  Jim works as an engineer at EPA in Research Triangle Park. View a short video on testing clean cook stoves here.

Admission $10.  This event is BYOB.   RPCVs: Bring a dish from your country of service (or something else) to share, and friends!
